CHEMICAL PEELS

Bex, our trusted aestheticians uses advanced techniques and medical-grade peels to produce beautiful aesthetic results. A skin peel treatment is performed to boost collagen production, fade dark spots and improve the skin’s texture by applying a safe chemical solution. In addition to rejuvenated skin and achieving a clear complexion.

We work with mesopeel

ADVANCED DERMAPEELS BY MESOESTETIC® mesopeel® is the most advanced range of specific chemical peels, designed for professionals who require safe, efficient products, which are convenient and controllable. They can be used to treat hyperpigmentation, signs of each phase of aging and aesthetic conditions such as acne and its effects, couperosis, rosacea, stretch marks and other imperfections.

The cell renewal process

Our skin renews and regenerates naturally every 28 days, but with time and at certain times of life, adolescence, pregnancy, menopause, this process becomes irregular and slower; provoking the appearance of skin alterations: acne, shine, dilated pores, wrinkles, dull tone, pigmentation spots, etc.

As maintenance or prevention

Undergoing a peel, various times a year, helps to maintain a healthy appearance and to improve the texture of the skin, being a preventative measure against aging.

Pre-Treatment Recommendation

To prepare the skin prior to treatment the client should use the Age management prep kit AM and PM for 15 days before treatment. This will help minimise any downtime and prepare the skin.

Candidates For a Mesopeel

Our popular treatment is typically used on the face, but is beneficial for most areas of the body, such as the legs, hands, shoulders, buttocks and neck when affected by the following conditions: • Active acne • Scarring • Fine lines and wrinkles • Pigmentation • Dark spots, age spots • Rosacea • Dry skin • Dull skin • Melasma • Uneven skin tone

Different Peels to treat all skin types

At Forever Young, we offer a considerable variety of peels that are used to treat a wide range of skin conditions. During the consultation, we will determine which peel will be the most suitable to meet your aesthetic goals.

How is a skin peel performed?

First, the skin is vigorously cleaned. Then the appropriate chemical is then applied to the skin for the amount of time required to yield the best results.

How long does a skin peel take?

Skin peels are generally a quick procedure and often can be performed in a matter of minutes, although this depends on the size of the area that is being treated. Typically the non-invasive skin peel is complete in just 30 minutes. This means you can return to your busy schedule straight after leaving our office.

What is the most popular type of skin peel?

Glycolic acid is the most popular type of peel. This is because it is effective on all skin types. Salicylic acid is another popular peel and is used to treat oily skin as well as breakouts.

Are peels painful?

Most skin peels are only mildly painful, with a brief burning sensation whilst the peel is applied. This subsides very quickly though and more serious side effects are very rare.

How long do the results last?

This depends on how deep the peel is and how well you take care of your skin afterwards. With proper skin care, i.e. staying out of the sun and keeping your skin hydrated, results can last months and even years in some cases. With all our treatments we recommend you also use the Mesoestetics home care to ensure you maintain the work we have done.

How many peels will I need?

Usually, the desired results can be achieved in less than 6 peels. After this, you can have regular maintenance peels once a month if so desired.

*Maximum 6 treatments in a course

*Maximum 2 courses per year

Are there any risks related to peels?

Superficial peels are generally very safe, although some mild stinging and discomfort may occur. For very deep peels, risks include infection, redness, scarring and dis-colouration. It should be pointed out though that these risks are not commonplace.

What is the recovery time?

The recovery time will depend on the depth of the peel. For light peels, it takes about 3-5 days for the shedding process to complete.
